Cancellation

We understand that life can get in the way sometimes and you may need to cancel or reschedule your session or appointment with us. We want to support you to do this wherever possible so have developed a flexible cancellation policy.

The Yoga Studio Burntwood – In Studio Regular Weekly Classes

Full payment is required on booking to secure your place in class. If you purchase a membership subscription, booking a place in class using your membership credits is considered full payment.

You can cancel up to 24 hours prior to the start time of your scheduled class and receive a full refund. Classes cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will not be refunded or rescheduled. Workshops and events have separate cancellation terms, please see below for further details. Where classes are booked using a membership credit, a refund means the class will be credited back to your membership subscription to be rebooked within the qualifying period.

The Yoga Studio at Home – Online Live Classes 

Full payment is required on booked to secure your place in class. If you purchase a membership subscription, booking a place in class using your membership credits is considered full payment.

Wellbeing Coaching, One to One Yoga and Mindfulness/Meditation Coaching – Both in Person and Online 

Full payment is required on booking your session. Your session time will be secured and confirmed on receipt of full payment. If you purchase a package of either three or six block sessions then paying in full for the package and booking with a package credit is considered full payment.

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 72 hours prior to the start time of your scheduled session. Sessions cancelled within less than 72 hours will not be rescheduled due to the reduced likelihood of refilling your appointment slot and the session will be lost. Where you may not be able to attend a session in person, sessions can be transferred to a virtual session held via zoom with no cancellation penalty.

Single sessions purchased should be used within one month of purchase. Packages of three sessions should be used within two months, and packages of six sessions should be used within three months. Any sessions cancelled and rescheduled should be re-booked within these time periods.

Workshops

Full payment is required on booking your workshop. You can cancel up to one week prior to the start time of your scheduled session and receive a full refund. Workshop places cancelled within one week of the event start time will not be refunded. This is due to the reduced likelihood of refilling your place, the increased costs incurred of re-marketing any cancelled places and costs incurred due to any resources purchased for the event.

Where a workshop is operated by an external party and their own cancellation terms apply, this will be specified on the booking information for that specific event. If any specific events hosted by The Wellbeing and Wellness Coach are operating on differing cancellation terms these will also be specified on booking information.

Health & Injury

At The Wellbeing and Wellness Coach we want to support you to take part in any activities as safely as possible. Before your first session we ask that you complete the health questionnaire that you can find here. If any changes arise please revisit these questions and provide any updates.

You must ensure that appropriate professional medical advice is sought prior to commencing any classes where necessary. We ask you to ensure that you are voluntarily engaging in a suitable level of exercise given your knowledge of your health and taking into account any medical advice you have received. During sessions you must take personal responsibility for your health, safety and wellbeing. You must never push beyond your limitations or engage in any activity contrary to the advice or direction of the instructor or your own knowledge of your body, any health conditions, injury or recent procedures.

Please alert your teacher/instructor on arrival if you are practicing with a specific injury,  health conditions or if you are pregnant. If there is any change to your physical or mental health; including any injury, new conditions or pregnancy, please ensure you make us aware before you next session and advise the teacher/instructor on arrival.

If you are pregnant, we advise waiting until you are 14 weeks into your pregnancy before commencing any new activity or yoga. You should seek your midwife’s consent to practice before this time.

Remember to always seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional about practicing yoga while pregnant, or about any injury, disability or health condition. You should also seek advice prior to starting any new physical activity programme.

MEMBERSHIP

The Wellbeing and Wellness Coach is committed to providing the best possible value to our customers by offering a range of membership subscription options. Memberships reduce the price of regular classes and provide access to a range of additional benefits.

Membership subscriptions are purchased on a rolling monthly basis and can be cancelled at any time. The cancellation period runs from the date that you subscribe. For example, if you subscribe on 7th of a month, your next payment will be taken on the 7th of the following month. If you cancel your subscription you will not receive a refund for any partial month remaining, but will retain access to your membership benefits until the end of the current billing month.

To maximise your membership benefits, all class credits should be booked within each billing cycle. Class credits that remain un-booked will not roll over to the next month and the number of credits will reset at the start of each contract period. We are not able to carry forward any class credits that are not used or booked within the relevant periods.  Once you have utilised all class credits for the current billing cycle you can book onto further classes on a pay per session basis at a reduced cost.

Your membership subscription gives you access to our regular weekly timetabled yoga classes. Workshops, extended classes, one off events and special events are not included unless explicitly stated and pricing will be advertised for individual events. Please retain your subscription confirmation email as this contains information about your membership benefits and how to access content such as our pre-recorded classes and meditation tracks.

We will endeavour to provide as full a timetable as possible at all times although class timetables are subject to change and reduced timetables may be operated during periods of low demand. Classes may be covered by alternative teachers due to sickness or holidays. Our routine yoga classes will not normally operate on public holidays. Partial refunds cannot be given for any periods of reduced operation due to Christmas or public holidays. Where a class has been cancelled due to events outside of our control, an alternative date and time will be offered for the next most suitable alternative or for a rescheduled class. Unused class credits will not roll over to the next month and the number of class credits available will reset at the start of each contract period.

All of our other terms and conditions remain valid during the active period of your membership subscription. Please ensure you have read our health and injury policy and cancellation policy. If you encounter any issues in accessing your membership benefits, please ensure you make contact with us at information@thewellbeingandwellnesscoach.com at the earliest possible opportunity to ensure this can be resolved. Refunds will not be given for any periods during which you have not accessed or utilised any specific membership benefits, unless there has been a failure on the part of The Wellbeing and Wellness Coach to resolve any issues notified in line with the above terms.

REFUND POLICY

We hope that you really love any items you purchase from The Wellbeing and Wellness Coach although if you are not entirely happy with your purchase from our online shop you can send it back.

You must notify us within 14 calendar days of your purchase that you wish to make a return by emailing information@thewellbeingandwellnesscoach.com. We will acknowledge your request and provide a returns address. You must return your item in the same condition that you received it, with original packaging and labels and provide a receipt or proof of purchase for your item.

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable with the exception of returns made for faulty items. If you are returning a faulty item please email proof of shipping to information@thewellbeingandwellnesscoach.com. On receipt of your item, we will verify the fault and if accepted, your shipping costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £8.

Please note, you are not able to return any items that you have unsealed and opened, including aromatherapy oils or food and drink products, unless the items are faulty.

You should ensure that we receive the item from you no later than 14 days from the date your refund request is acknowledged. It is recommended that you obtain proof of postage as we will not be liable for any lost items that are not received by us within the 14 day period. We will refund you to your original payment method within 3-5 working days depending on your payment provider’s policies. We reserve the right to refuse any refund requests that are made outside of the timescales outlined above or where products are damaged by the purchaser or through inappropriate use or storage.
